Semir enters Nepal market with two store openings

Chinese apparel brand Semir continues to forge ahead with its global expansion strategy, entering the Nepal market with two store openings earlier this year. The first Semir store opened in Kathmandu at the Civil Mall in February 2022. The second store opened at the Labim Mall in Lalitpur city in March 2022. Combined with its sister brand ‘Balabala’ that already has a shop at the Labim Mall, Semir now boasts over 300 square metres of retail space in the mall.

Further three locations are set to open in 2022 bringing the total store number to five in its entry year with further development plans in place to capitalize on the early opportunities in this emerging market.

Founded in 1996, Semir currently boasts over 2,000 stores in mainland China and has a growing overseas presence with 25 stores in international locations. Global expansion continues at pace with additional stores set to open in its established markets and new markets across Southeast Asia and the Middle East later in the year.
