Eyewear giant Lenskart brings France’s Le Petit Lunetier to India

Indian eyewear firm Lenskart has partnered with Le Petit Lunetier for the French brand’s debut into the Indian market.

Le Petit Lunetier will be the first international brand in Lenskart’s distribution portfolio, which mainly comprises of company-owned and domestic brands. The Parisian eyewear maker will be available across 50 Lenskart stores in India, as well as online via the Lenskart website.

“We are very excited to enter the Indian market with Lenskart as a strategic partner and introduce our brand to the Indian consumer,” said Jérémie Encaoua, co-founder of Le Petit Lunetier.

“This launch will move us one step closer to achieving our global expansion goals beyond our core markets.”

In September, Singapore-based Neso Brands, a subsidiary of Lenskart, acquired an undisclosed stake in Le Petit Lunetier, investing USD 4 million in eyewear startup.

Founded in 2015 by former Google executive Jérémie Encaoua and optician Elie Attias, Le Petit Lunetier is a manufacturer and retailer of designer glasses for men and women, and currently operates 16 stores in France.
