According to industry sources and Vietnamese media reports, Shilla Monogram Danang, the first hotel established under the new brand Shilla Monogram, will open in Quangnam Province on 26th June.

Set besides Non Nuoc beach in Danang City, the 9-story hotel has 300 rooms as well as villa, swimming pools, restaurants and bars.

It is Hotel Shilla’s first foray into the overseas market after being in charge of design, construction and operation. The company has been running Jinji Lake Shilla Hotel in Suzhou, China, since 2006, but it is responsible only for operation.

The company launched new Shilla Monogram brand to expand its presence abroad. It currently runs upscale brand The Shilla and business hotel label Shilla Stay. It plans to operate overseas hotels based on consigned management to reduce risks and generate stable profits.

Hotel Shilla postponed the opening from early April to June due to the coronavirus pandemic. Although the demand for international travel has fallen to almost zero, the Vietnamese company in partnership with Hotel Shilla decided to partially open the hotel as the outbreak has been slowing down in the country, an official from the company said.
