China’s Miniso on May 4 opened its first IP collection store in Vietnam, also marking the debut of the BT21 collection in the nation.

Located in Hanoi, close to the city’s Hoan Kiem Lake, the new Miniso flagship marks the lifestyle retailer’s first offline consumer experience store themed around BT21 in Vietnam, and retails key items such as 9-inch plush toys, memory foam neck pillows, headbands, double-wall plastic tumblers with straws, and light-up keychains.
In addition to BT21 merchandise, shoppers will also find IP-themed collections including Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear, We Bare Bears, Pokémon, Snoopy, Minions, Marie, Winnie-the-Pooh, and Barbie, among others.
The store grand opening featured performances by dance troupes and local singer Isaac, while Miss International Vietnam 2024, Huỳnh Thị Thanh Thủy, took part in the new location’s ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The new Hanoi store marks the latest in Miniso’s expansion across Vietnam.
In the last few months, the retailer has opened several stores such as a Barbie-themed outlet in Hanoi; a Ho Chi Minh City store showcasing the Disney Pixar Food Collection; and a three-story store situated on Nguyen Trai Street, in Ho Chi Minh City’s bustling commercial district.
Today, Miniso boasts 70 stores across nearly 30 provinces in Vietnam, with an established presence across major cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, and Da Nang. Looking ahead, the company said it is looking to extend its reach throughout more provinces in Vietnam, focusing on top-tier commercial locations.
