Cartier’s ‘Time Unlimited’ World Premieres in Hong Kong

Cartier is celebrating more than 100 years of watchmaking with the launch of its ‘Time Unlimited’ event, an all-inclusive experience showcasing the luxury maison’s storied design. Kicking off November 23 in Pacific Place, Hong Kong, Cartier’s Time Unlimited worldwide exhibition brings timekeeping to life through its new animated presentation of more than 100 watches past and present.

Inside the exhibition, visitors will find four interconnected chambers leading to a large space for further close encounters with the brand and its collections.

One of the exhibit’s first rooms reveals a multitude of contours and is itself a watch shape – 12 large Arabic numeral blocks mark an oval dial at its centre.

The last chamber is a time tunnel echoing the Cartier ethos of technique in the service of beauty. Parts of giant balance wheels, springs and other inner workings are embedded along the roof and walls of this black-and-red passage.
