As an event speaker, Zhou shared her thoughts on the panel “Alone We Can Do So Little; Together We Can Do So Much,” introducing Semir’s key drivers and success story.

“Understanding the local market and consumers, having experience in successful international brand operations, flexibility to meet challenges, a strong willingness to achieve shared long-term goals are key drivers when building overseas partnerships,” Zhou said.

Together with its Saudi market partners, Semir has doubled its business over the past three years. Entering the UAE and Qatar markets with its Qatari partners, Semir  has  opened flagship stores in key shopping centers to quickly establish the brand in the market.

Zhou also shared insights on the impact of the global pandemic on physical stores and online channels, as well as Semir’s strategy to respond to the crisis and support its partners.

Through the two-day retail summit, Semir Group expanded its brand voice and awareness in the international market, established face-to face connections with potential customers, and promoted the development of Semir and Balabala brands overseas.
