Loro Piana embraces the outdoors and launches its ‘Into the Wild’ collection with a series of pop-ups

Loro Piana is set to ignite a sense of adventure with its latest collection, ‘Into the Wild,’ catering to customers who embrace the great outdoors. This innovative lineup focuses on technical performance and cutting-edge advancements and spans outerwear such as vests, rainproof jackets, and leggings, and accessories from backpacks to bucket hats.

To bring this wilderness-inspired collection to life, Loro Piana is taking it on a journey to handpicked locations across Asia, including Seoul (Hyundai Main Department Store), Singapore (Ion Orchard mall), Taipei (Bellavita mall) and Tokyo (Roppongi Hills), where tent-shaped pop-ups will emerge.

These immersive spaces are designed to captivate visitors, curating an unparalleled shopping experience for those with discerning taste. Forest-themed wallcoverings harmoniously contrasted with the maison’s signature oak wood and soft, natural lighting will transport customers into a refined camping environment.

The pop-up in Singapore’s Ion Orchard runs through June 30, with the other locations to be announced.

Prada sister brand Miu Miu puts books at the forefront this summer with its Summer Reads series, from June 7 to 9 in selected cities worldwide. In a unique twist, Miu Miu took over existing newsstands, transforming them into literary havens, as well as created brand-new locations dedicated to this literary celebration. 

Visitors were treated to popsicles and copies of three classic texts: Alba de Céspedes’ Forbidden Notebook, Sibilla Aleramo’s A Woman, and Jane Austen’s Persuasion. These carefully chosen works, hailing from different times and places, all share one common thread: influential female authors. Continuously cherished and reexamined, the writings of these remarkable women delve into themes and ideologies that remain strikingly relevant.

Miu Miu’s Summer Reads kiosks appeared at Seoul’s Lowide Coffee Bakery, Naive in Shanghai, Tai Kwun in Hong Kong, and Daikanyama district in Tokyo, in addition to spots Milan, Paris, London and New York City.

Dior and DFS unveil travel retail pop-up boutique in Macau

Dior, in collaboration with DFS, unveiled its largest pop-up store in the APAC travel retail sector on June 7. Situated at Pearl Lobby, Galaxy Promenade, in Macau the event space invites travellers to immerse themselves in the Summer in Dior experience, evoking the warmth of the French Riviera. Inspired by Christian Dior’s love for the South of France, this season pays tribute to the founder’s vision by establishing Dior’s summertime residence.

The inaugural showcase at Galaxy Macau features a retail offering alongside bespoke services and a cafe. The tri-axis pop-up store boasts an impressive range of offerings, including makeup, skincare, fragrances, and the prestigious La Collection Privée. Furthermore, the pop-up introduces a limited-edition collection for La Collection Privée, along with an exclusive makeup collection specially crafted for the summer season.

Aesop brings its Women’s Library to Kuala Lumpur

Building upon its journey across various countries last year, the Aesop Women’s Library visits Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from June 14 to 16, taking over Aesop boutiques in The Exchange TRX and IOI City Mall. During this period, the shelves will be thoughtfully cleared of products to make way for a curated collection of books by local women authors. 

The library showcases a handpicked selection of 27 titles, spanning three languages, and features esteemed writers such as Saras Manickam, Dr. Chai Siaw Ling, and Charissa Ong. Visitors are invited to explore this literary haven and are generously offered a complimentary book of their choice, with no purchase necessary.
