Moncler collaborates with Chen Peng on upcycling capsule collection

Fashion brand Moncler joins forces with Chinese designer Chen Peng to create an upcycling capsule that breathes new life into a selection of Moncler down jackets. With a circular economy approach, a series of classic old stock jackets have been repurposed with additional detailing to add a fresh spin.

Moncler’s focus has always been on creating a garment with durability at its heart, thanks to high quality raw materials and innovative techniques. With this upcycling project, Moncler goes one step further by reworking Moncler jackets from previous collections with the creative vision of Chen Peng.

Applying his fresh take on gender-fluid style, Peng has upcycled four Moncler jackets: a glossy cherry-red nylon-lacque Bady jacket that is made over with a surrealist wink, a cobalt Badenne jacket that comes alive with new moto-mod checkerboard yoke and contrast stitching. Peng also remixes the classic colorways of two re-commissioned Gary puffers in a postmodern palette.
