Reliance Media’s Big Cinemas to increase to 330 screens across India

Reliance MediaWorks, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company, plans to increase the number of screens under its multiplex chain Big Cinemas to 330 by the end of the next fiscal year.




"At present we have 250 screens across 78 cities in India. We are planning to increase it to 330 by March 2011. Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore are some of the centres where the screens will be set up," says Anil Arjun, CEO of Reliance MediaWorks.

Arjun was speaking at a press conference held to announce a strategic partnership with satellite-based digital cinema provider UFO Moviez.
