Pomelo appoints new Vice President, Head of Sustainability

Asia’s omnichannel fashion platform Pomelo has appointed Kevalin Athayu as Vice President and Head of Sustainability, reiterating the fashion tech company’s long-standing commitment to providing eco-friendly, on-trend garments and accessories. In this position, Kevalin will be in charge of developing and implementing the company’s sustainability strategy as well as creating industry impact.

Kevalin will be responsible for guiding the development of the company’s sustainability plan and exploring new opportunities in her new role. She will also be in charge of developing an innovative approach while collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, such as non-governmental organizations, experts, and other partners, in order to meet Pomelo’s ambitious sustainability goals.

Prior to this role, Kevalin was the Global Head of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility at Agoda, an online travel tech firm, where she oversaw the formulation and execution of their sustainability strategy as well as the development of their employee donating and volunteering program.
