Located on the ground floor of the capital city’s The Starhill mall, the 90 square-metre-space has been designed to mirror the Italian brand’s heritage and luxury codes with golden walls and Venetian textiles from Maison Rubelli, paying homage to the company’s headquarters and atelier in Vicenza, Veneto.

“I am proud to be part of The Starhill with this extraordinary boutique and I look forward to meeting all my clients and friends in Kuala Lumpur soon,” said Roberto Coin in a statement.

Marking its Asia debut, Roberto Coin has brought to the region its most famous jewellery collections including Love in Verona and Princess Family line, inspired by Venice, Verona and Rome, and centred in-store for shoppers when they first walk in.

A temporary selection from the private archive of the Roberto Coin brand will also be present in the new space store, which includes the Animalier masterpieces that saw Roberto Coin rise to fame. Roberto Coin is also known for his signature design, signing each one of his pieces with a small ruby casted inside the jewel, in direct contact with the skin of who wears it.

Founded in 1996 by namesake jeweller Roberto Coin, Roberto Coin jewellery is found in 62 countries and has 1,000 boutiques across the world include the U.S., the Middle East and Europe and now Asia. While Roberto Coin has not made any announcements on further store openings in Asia, it remains likely that the brand will open stores in nearby cities soon.
