Korean skincare brand Axis-Y unveils Cheongdam flagship, reports 95 percent sales uptick

South Korea’s Axis-Y has opened a new flagship store in its home-nation capital of Seoul, as the skincare brand reports a whopping 95 percent increase in sales last year.

Situated in city’s prestigious Cheongdam district, the new Axis-Y store is located on the first floor of the beauty firm’s headquarters.

In a press release, the company said the flagship “stands as a destination for beauty enthusiasts worldwide to explore the brand’s innovative products,” and “signifies the brand’s rapid growth and commitment to making beauty accessible to all.”

In addition to retailing its products, the location also boasts a cafe and serves as a venue for brand events.

“This ideal setting fosters making memories, sharing joy, and inspiring a life filled with love, embodying our vision of beauty and connection,” the company added.

Coinciding with the store opening news, Axis-Y reported a 95 percent increase in sales, compared to the previous year. Over the past four years, the company said it revenue has soared by over 530 percent, pushed on by its distribution across more than 1,200 Watsons stores internationally.

Its current distribution network spans more than 50 countries across South Korea, the U.S., Europe and Southeast Asia.

Looking ahead, the company said it plans to expand its global footprint and launch new products.

Founded by CEO Maggie Yue, Axis-Y is a clean beauty brand that is “climate inspired, community focused, self-care encouraged, vegan and cruelty free.”
