Bottega Veneta unveiled its new concept store in Macau on January 9, located at Shoppes at Four Seasons. The store introduces a unique design concept under the artistic direction of creative director Matthieu Blazy, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
Drawing inspiration from the brand’s iconic handwoven bags, the 1,507-square-foot store’s design is a visual masterpiece. The walls, shelving, and tables are meticulously crafted in a puzzle-like form, inspired by the maison’s intrecciato signature style and created from single sheets of wood. The interlocking structures are seamlessly assembled without the need for nails or screws, further highlighting the brand’s attention to detail.
The concept store is designed to embody the brand’s core philosophy of Craft in Motion, a concept championed by Blazy, which celebrates the fusion of traditional techniques with contemporary aesthetics.
Inside, customers can explore a wide range of product categories, including leather goods, jewellery, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, and eyewear.
Additionally, the store features exclusive products specifically crafted in time for the upcoming Lunar New Year in 2024. The addition of this new concept store brings Bottega Veneta’s presence to four retail locations in Macau.
