AS Watson Group appoints Freda Ng as MD for Park ‘n’ Shop Hong Kong & Macau

International health and beauty retailer AS Watson Group has named Freda Ng as the new managing director of Park ‘n’ Shop Hong Kong & Macau,  taking over from Norman Yum, who has decided to retire and will be assuming the role of business advisor.

Established in 1972, Park ‘n’ Shop is a leading supermarket chain in Hong Kong, encompassing various retail brands such as Taste, Fusion, Food Le Parc, Great Food Hall, and more.

Ng has been a part of AS Watson Group since 2010, initially joining in a business planning capacity. In 2023, she became the chief operating officer of Park ‘n’ Shop after serving as chief digital officer of Watsons International and chief customer & digital officer of Watsons Hong Kong.

In her new role, Ng will focus on building upon the strong foundation of the business and providing customers with a seamless shopping experience across the supermarket’s nearly 260 online and offline stores.
