The role positions Ferreira to spearhead the group’s ambitious expansion in Southeast Asia and other global markets, reporting to Kent Wong, managing director.

Ferreira joins from her most recent position as general manager for Southeast Asia and Oceania at luxury house Loewe.

Ferreira’s primary focus will be on elevating the allure of the brand and pinpointing novel avenues for growth at various points of sale for Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group.

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery has begun a comprehensive brand refresh that is set for completion on the group’s centennial anniversary, in 2029. From 2024, all of its stores will undergo an extensive refurbishment, complementing a new “forward-looking” logo and brand identity.

“In line with our strategic direction, Gaby will drive the expansion of Chow Tai Fook Jewellery’s retail network in popular travel retail markets and in areas with a significant customer population who understand and appreciate Chinese culture, art and beauty, all of which Chow Tai Fook Jewellery brings to life through its collections, brand and overall customer experience,” said Kent Wong, managing director.

Her oversight will extend across the spectrum, encompassing the Group’s product assortment and steering retail, wholesale, and travel retail channels both in Southeast Asia and beyond.

The Group’s strategic pivot towards Southeast Asia is underpinned by factors such as a burgeoning middle class and the resurgence of tourism.

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery has expanded its footprint across Southeast Asia and beyond, boasting a network of points of sale in key locations such as Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Korea, Canada, and the United States.

Ferreira’s tenure at Loewe saw her orchestrate pivotal business functions such as operations, merchandising, customer relationship management, marketing, training, and visual merchandising.
