Ba&sh reopens Hong Kong IFC mall store

Ba&sh has reopened its flagship store in Hong Kong, with the French womenswear label homing in on the Chinese region.

Located in the IFC mall, the newly renovated Hong Kong store was originally the first store to open in the city from the Paris-based brand.

Inside, the newly revamped store which spans 213 square metres, comes designed with modern raw materials and earthy hues such as clay, sand and grey to create a soft, luxurious aesthetic.

In addition to stocking the Parisian brand’s latest women’s collections, the store carries a designated area for hosting events with its customers, and a large sales space with a lounge area where customers can relax and peruse the latest Ba&sh offerings.

Launched in 2003, Ba&sh derives its name from the combined first names of its founders, Barbara Boccara and Sharon Krief, and gained prominence as a pioneer of ‘smart fashion’.

In 2015, L Catterton and Groupe Arnault invested the fashion label, with Pierre-Arnaud Grenade joining as CEO. In May 2022, the company announced an investment from French firm HLD, alongside existing shareholders and the executive team,

In 2022, Ba&sh revenue grew 22 percent to EUR 310 million.

Today, the French brand has a presence in over 70 countries, with more than 320 stores across Europe, China, and North America.

In late 2023,  Ba&sh announced the opening of its first flagship store in Singapore, located at the Marina Bay Sands, in partnership with Bluebell Group.
