Marquee Brands, the parent company of Ben Sherman, Martha Stewart’s namesake brand and other lifestyle labels, has acquired Anti Social Social Club (ASSC).

The acquisition was confirmed on the morning of May 26th for an unknown sum, according to The Business of Fashion. “Our plan is to let ASSC be ASSC – with no intent to change the brand DNA, values, or culture,” said Neil Fiske, Marquee Brands Chief Executive.
Neek Lurk launched ASSC in 2015, and it rose to prominence in the streetwear scene at a time when Supreme was at its peak, with the UltraBOOST hype. Despite its appeal, ASSC fell short when it comes to product delivery. With the inconsistent delivery period, ASSC consumers had to wait months to receive their order – in which the company once fell behind their shipment for 1,000 consumers back in 2017, causing a serious online backlash.

With the recent acquisition, presumably one of Heath Golden’s very first moves ever since his appointment as the company’s first Chief Commercial and Strategy Officer, ASSC hopes to improve their logistics support with Marquee Brands’ experience and structured management.
