Christian Louboutin announces the opening of its 164th boutique housed within the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

The 92 square meters store dedicated to both men and women is a reference to Christian Louboutin’s first boutique in the Galerie Véro Dodat in Paris. The boutique is imagined as a small island with its five facets façade punctuated with arches and red scales.
The store is a succession of rooms interspersed by rounded plaster passages, which create intimate lounge atmospheres. Generous mirrors bring depth and space to the boutique. Signature niches with fine moulding and alcoves from various sizes are wrapped in rust and nude velvet and shelves are covered with matching suede.
Inspired by a private boudoir, the boutique, floored with the iconic red carpet is a nod to Christian Louboutin’s universe. The delicate atmosphere is contrasted with velvet materials in multiple shades of pink in the women area, and palm and peacock patterned fabrics, blue and green colors raised with golden coffered ceiling in the men’s area, tribute to the typical Parisian gallery.
In the women’s area, a flower shaped sofa is placed in the center of the room to create a feminine and intimate atmosphere. On the other side, the men’s area integrates dark shades. On the walls, the texture plays with scratches and granite plasters, pink silk wall paper and small petals patterns.
The boutique is accented with a mix of noble materials, from tables with white and pink marble top, and legs in acrylic tubes, to gold metal pole with a twist of rope and furniture with cherry red circus tents. Hold by natural ropes, bags are hung from the alcoves and presented on shelves covered with suedine material. The golden mirrors come to sparkle the whole.
