Located on the first floor of Laforet Harajuku, the Wildside Yohji Yamamoto Harajuku store was designed by Japanese multi-hyphenate, Kunichi Nomura and features distinctive black curtained columns, mortar, black painted steel, and metallic fixtures.

A glass wall at the entrance was also designed to magnify the store space, with the entrance window showing key visuals of Wildside by photographer Takay, and stylist Noguchi Yokuri.

Inside, shoppers will find the Japanese brand’s latest collections, including new products from collaborations with Hysteric Glamour, Room No. 6, and North No Name.

Marking the debut, artist Takeu Amano’s ‘Venus’ and ‘Sphinx (Dog)’ sculpture works were also on exhibit for four days, from April 11.

Wildside Yohji Yamamoto is a conceptual project by Yohji Yamamoto, a collaboration hub launched in July 2022. Since then, the brand has partnered with Ambush, Kangol, New Era, and Supreme, among other brands and artists.

In October 2022, the Japanese brand opened a store in Osaka, the first permanent space for the label, in the Shinsaibashi district.
