Austrian jewellery brand Swarovski and Lagardère Travel Retail North Asia have teamed up to open a new store at Hong Kong International Airport. It is located in the Midfield Concourse on Departures Level 6.

The boutique offers Swarovski’s complete jewellery and accessories ranges as well as signature pieces from its latest collection. The store had a soft opening on 24th October 2019 and is now fully operational.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Lagardère to strengthen the retail offering and to contribute our characteristic sparkle to enhance the consumer experience,” Swarovski Vice President Travel Retail & Global Accounts Claudia Schoenning.
The retail space’s design uses some of Swarovski’s most recognisable colours and motifs, including its signature swan emblem. It features white walls, textured columns, mirrored details and crystal.
One of the store’s most memorable features is a special light installation called ‘The Winter Blossom.’ It was created by London-based Industrial Product Designer Tord Boontje, who adapted his signature ‘blossom’ design to reflect a winter-themed look. The installation — which blooms with luminescent LED flowers — highlights Swarovski’s crystal products.

According to Lagardère Travel Retail Chief Executive Officer (North Asia) Eudes Fabre, the new Swarovski store brings vitality and dynamism to its offer in Hong Kong International Airport.
