La Mer opens its largest flagship store in Hainan

Estée Lauder Companies’ La Mer has opened a first-of-its-kind omni-channel retail destination at CDF Haikou International Duty-Free Shopping Mall, in partnership with China Duty Free Group (CDFG).

Spanning more than 242 square metres, the new flagship store is appointed with marble finishes, gold embellishments, and statement pieces that reflect the prestige skincare brand’s luxurious offerings. In addition to a full display of the brand’s product lines are private VIP lounge and consultation areas designed to enhance the in-store experience for clients.

For the store’s grand opening, La Mer hosted Chinese actress Qin Lan, who appeared in a special livestream event on CDFG Hainan’s social platforms. The livestream drew over 39 million views across Weibo and WeChat.
