Yoox Net-a-Porter customers in Italy and France will be able to access its resale service, which is currently already available in the US, UK, Hong Kong SAR, and Germany. Through this expansion, a broader reach of customers will now be able to sell pre-loved designer items across both womenswear and menswear, including ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes, accessories, and jewellery.

In addition, the company has announced plans to expand further into Australia, South Korea, and the Middle East in early 2023.

Mr Porter and The Outnet have also introduced an instant buyback program for men’s trainers crafted by pre-approved designers for all of their resale markets, adding to Net-a-Porter’s existing buy-back program for women’s designer handbags. The move marks the first-of-its-kind in Europe to reward customers with instant store credit for this product category, without having to wait until items are sold on to their next owner and provides “greater flexibility for customers looking to resell across both menswear and womenswear with immediate reward”.
