Beginning 25th June, the Classic Leather Tabi and the Club C Maison Margiela will be available in beige. Drawing on codes evolved by creative director John Galliano, both silhouettes express the characteristics of the French fashion house through two of the sportswear brand’s most recognizable designs.
The Classic Leather Tabi, which debuted in January 2021, splices two icons into one. The silhouette is a rebuilt version of Reebok’s beloved Classic Leather (launched in 1983) and features the signature Tabi design that Maison Margiela created in 1988. With its recognizable split-toe construction it represents the deconstructive design philosophy key to the house.

The Club C Maison Margiela, initially released in March 2021, also fuses signature features of Maison Margiela and Reebok. Maison Margiela applies a house technique, the trompe l’oeil, to Reebok’s iconic Club C (launched in 1985). The shoe is constructed from a single piece of flat leather, with the sneaker’s one-cut upper featuring a printed and scanned image of Reebok’s original Club C shoe.
