Thailand’s Mall Group puts emphasis on lifestyle, fun

As market competition intensifies, The Mall Group, one of Thailand’s largest mall operators, will allocate more than its expected budget to renovate its retail complexes to become lifestyle entertainment shopping venues.

The company will spend THB400 million (USD13.8m) this year to renovate its shopping centres in Bang Khae, Bang Kapi and Ngam Wong Wan in Bangkok.

The Bang Khae branch is the top priority for renovation after the arrival of new players in the district, while the skytrain extension will create housing projects, resulting in a change of customers’ lifestyles.
