Taiwan had 634,000 jobless citizens in February 2010, equivalent to an unemployment rate of 5.76 percent and up by 0.08 percentage points on month and 0.01 percentage points on year, according to statistics released by the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics on 22 March.
