Flytech Technology, a Taiwan-based maker of POS devices and kiosks, on 19 March released unaudited financial results for 2009, with gross margin hitting a company record at 36.55 percent.
Flytech posted revenues of TWD2.41 billion (USD73 million), net profit of TWD544 million (USD17 million) and net earnings per share of TWD6.93 (USD0.22) for 2009.
Flytech supplies kiosks to convenience store chains in Taiwan, and is waiting confirmation for orders from Family Mart and By the Way, the largest and fourth largest convenience store chains, respectively, in South Korea.
