Following the departure of creative director Alessandro Michele last month, Gucci’s design office will continue to steer the house until a new creative organization is announced.

Gucci opened its first flagship store in Seoul in 1998, meaning the show will mark the brand’s 25th anniversary in the country.

The repeat show in Seoul was canceled last month after the tragic Halloween crowd crush that killed more than 150 people and injured dozens on October 29. Gucci pledged a three-year donation to restore and preserve Gyeongbokgung Palace following its cancellation.

In recent months, Gucci’s ties with South Korea have been reinforced.

Prior to the canceled show, Gucci signed Hanni, lead singer of NewJeans, as its newest brand ambassador. She is joined by Squid Game actor Lee Jung-Jae and musical artist Kai as local ambassadors.
