The partnership was underscored with the formalisation of two critical agreements between ODF and the Commission, and Port City Colombo (CPCC).

Major investments in travel retail, entertainment, and leisure facilities are planned to develop Port City Colombo into a prime tourism and shopping destination.

Through the agreement, One World Duty Free is to develop and operate a 1,250-square-metre store – its first outside Singapore – at Port City Colombo in 2023, offering a range of international brands in beauty, wellness, spirits and wine, and fashion. The store will be located within Port City Duty Free Mall.
