Samsung taps once-convicted former chairman to seek new growth

Samsung Electronics has been named by Fortune Korea as the number one most admired company in South Korea, according to a recent report from The Korea Times. The country’s most admired company has recently appointed its former chairman Lee Kun-hee, who was once convicted of embezzlement and tax evasion, to retake the helm of the group.
