Samsung Electronics has said it achieved its highest-ever market share for computer monitors last year, holding the number one position for the third consecutive year.
Citing International Data Corporation, a market research firm, Samsung said it posted a record-high market share of 17.9 percent in terms of sales revenue in the overall monitor market last year. It has held that top position for three consecutive years, or 12 consecutive quarters, since the first quarter of 2007.
