Salvatore Ferragamo, one of the leading global players in the luxury sector, has reopened its newly renovated flagship store in Tokyo, making it the largest store in Japan for the Italian brand.
Located in capital city’s Chuo-dori, Ginza district – one of Japan’s premier shopping strips — Salvatore Ferragamo completely renovated and enlarged the Tokyo store premises to cover a total shopping area of approximately 600 square meters.
Spread over three floors, the store offers the full range of the brand’s collections for men and women including ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, small leather goods, silk accessories, sunglasses, perfumes, watches and jewellery.

On each floor, the space is divided into connected rooms with a balanced mix of classic Italian design and historic references to the thirties and fifties eras
Bringing Europe to Asia, the flagship carries the hallmarks Italian interior design: Gio Ponti furniture, antique Venetian glass vases, sofas and chairs imported from Italy and original hand-made carpets, together with Venetian stucco and travertine.
Marking the store reopening, Salvatore Ferragamo organised a special event and invited VIP guest. The concept was to bring to Florence to Tokyo. A master craftsmen set up in-store, showcasing the skills behind Ferragamo’s handmade footwear. Meanwhile, a video played on the walls of the store facade, displaying Florentine art and gardens.
