Right vintage for China success

China has been fermenting grains and fruits into "wine" since ancient times. But in the past 15 years, hundreds of vineyards producing Western-varietal-grape wines have sprung up. Most are at an embryonic stage, though that doesn’t mean they don’t intend one day to rank among the world’s great wineries.
