Nissan launches large-scale Twitter, augmented reality campaign

Japanese auto brand Nissan has launched a global campaign to build support for its Zero Emission movement, combining augmented reality (AR) technology and Twitter to engage audiences.

The campaign encourages global audiences to tweet about Zero Emission, with Nissan visualising the tweets using AR technology.

The campaign comes ahead of the global launch of Nissan’s new electric car, Leaf, later this year.
