Mytheresa names new president for China and APAC

Mytheresa announced the appointment of Steven Xu as president of the luxury e-commerce platform’s China and Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, effective 1st July.

According to the Munich, Germany-based company, Xu will be responsible for all Mytheresa consumer-facing efforts in China and Asia Pacific and will bring a wealth of customer digital experience in the APAC region.

Xu joins to Mytheresa from Ralph Lauren, where he was vice president of digital marketing and e-commerce APAC, where he oversaw the American luxury brand’s online operations in the APAC region, particularly in China.

Prior to joining Ralph Lauren, Xu worked at British American Tobacco and Philip Morris, where he was responsible for driving regional digital transformation in the Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern regions. He has previously worked for Ebay and Edipresse.
