After promoting MacDonald’s Australia’s Catriona Noble as managing director 18 months ago, she has now taken over as CEO from Peter Bush, who is retiring due to health reasons.
The promotion completes the 40-year-old’s professional journey from the McDonald’s kitchen, where she worked as a casual throughout high school and university, to one of the country’s most senior businesswomen, overseeing a company with annual revenues in excess of AUD1.2 billion (USD1.12 billion).
