Marking twenty years of trade in Ngee Ann City, Louis Vuitton has unveiled a newly renovated store in Singapore.

Located on the iconic Orchard Road, the French maison has tapped Peter Marino to design the new layout, meant to capture the upcoming festive season, as well as two decades of brand’s residency in the shopping mall.

The renewed Singapore store is doused in the signature Louis Vuitton monogram – an abstract flower, which Marino has reconsidered in faded copper. The store façade features a blend of stone, glass and metal, while inside, luxurious fittings such as oak with gold leaf combines with natural stone flooring.

Meanwhile, specialty furniture crafted by Paul Evans and Helene de Saint Lager sit over hand-knotted carpets from Nepal.

The store carries the fashion house’s full product assortment from ready-to-wear and shoes to watches, jewellery, leather goods and fragrances.

In December, Louis Vuitton tapped Marino to design its new SoHo store in New York. In addition to the brand’s collections, it features a new art gallery concept which was first unveiled at the Louis Vuitton St. Germain store in Paris.

In the same month, Louis Vuitton also bowed what is believed to be the world’s first 3D printed pop-up store in Westfield shopping centre in Sydney. Recruiting specialist 3D print provider Omus, the luxury brand erected a 968 square foot structure that was created with a 3D printer in just 18 days.
