Johnston to succeed Goodman as Pepsi CFO

PepsiCo Inc. CFO Richard Goodman will leave at the end of the month and be succeeded by 20-year company veteran Hugh Johnston as the soda and snack-food giant begins integrating its two largest bottlers into its operations.

Johnston was named executive vice president of global operations earlier this year. He has held merger, finance and strategy positions during his tenure, which began in 1987 and was interrupted by a nearly three-year stint at Medco Health Solutions Inc. while it was still part of Merck & Co. He rejoined Pepsi in 2002.
