WeWork, the global workspace, community, and services provider, announced Friday that it will open its second location in Hong Kong in Wan Chai in 2016. WeWork’s second location will house over 800 members at the Asia Orient Tower, a mixed-use commercial office tower located on Lockhart Road in the central business district of Hong Kong.

“How and why people work is changing around the world, and in Hong Kong. WeWork will provide global workspaces, a collaborative community and services that help people achieve their aspirations, realize their passion and make a life, not just a living,” said Henek Lo, WeWork’s General Manager, Hong Kong. “Between our two locations, we’re dedicated to providing everyone—from startups to freelancers, entrepreneurs, small-to-medium-sized businesses and large corporations—with the opportunity to benefit from working in a community on a local and global scale.”

This announcement follows last month’s announcement of WeWork’s plans to open their first flagship location at TOWER 535 in Causeway Bay. Together, WeWork’s locations in the Asia Orient Tower and TOWER 535 will provide services, community and workspace for more than 2,000 members in Hong Kong.

WeWork members, no matter their location, become a part of the thriving global community of more than 50,000 creators, business leaders, and entrepreneurs, with access to more than 90 locations around the world. Members of the Asia Orient Tower location will be able to take advantage of the services and meeting workspaces in WeWork’s first Hong Kong location, TOWER 535 in Causeway Bay, as well as in the over 90 WeWork locations around the world.
