“Our new partnership with The Langham takes shape around our collective focus on sustainability. In addition to pre-launching our exciting new recycled TUMI V4 with the ‘Celebrate the Perfect Journey’ staycation package, our collaboration aims to elevate eco-friendly experiences for when our customers will travel again,” said Adam Hershman, Vice President of TUMI, Asia Pacific and Middle East.
“This merging of the ecological aspirations for both The Langham and TUMI has been in the works for months and I am delighted that we are playing a part in inviting people to travel responsibly,” said Stefan Leser, Chief Executive Officer, Langham Hospitality Group.
“While we may not be able to venture far at the present time, there is still much to explore closer to home and I know many of our guests are now very mindful of being safe and environmentally conscious at the same time,” continued Stefan.
Guests who book the “Celebrate the Perfect Journey” staycation package will also receive a complimentary room upgrade at the selected The Langham hotels along with daily breakfast for two, an afternoon tea experience on the arrival day, a 20% off F&B and spa treatments, early check-in and late check-out privileges, and complimentary valet parking. The innovation of recycled materials from TUMI is an important step for the travel industry to truly commit to a sustainable future.
Innovative by nature and sustainable by choice, TUMI constantly looks for ways to innovate with recycled materials to pioneer the way forward for the travel industry. In addition to the launch of the new TUMI V4 recycled capsule collection, groundbreaking efforts earlier in SS2020 have included the brand’s first-ever travel collection made with recycled materials, TUMI Merge, as well as Alpha Bravo in seasonal Grey/Bright Lime and Grey/Bright Red made with fabric engineered from post-consumer recycled bottles and post-industrial recycled nylon.
With a mission to perfect the journey of global citizens and to protect what matters, TUMI is committed to developing products that are built to last with purposefully engineered repairability in its designs to ensure they withstand the test of time. The TUMI global repair network contributes to this goal by empowering products to be used and carried even longer.
