Transaction volume at China’s business to consumer (B2C) shopping sites in the first quarter grew 73 percent from a year ago to CNY81.9 billion (USD13b), an industry report said.
The market size added only 7.6 percent from the October-December period, down from a more than 20 percent average quarterly rise in previous quarters as a growing number of shopping sites ended sales promotions, Beijing-based Internet research house Analysys International said in a report on Thursday.
