Samsung eyes USD3b sales from India

Korean consumer-durables major Samsung says it is aiming to generate over USD3 billion in revenue from India in 2010, which would help it topple compatriot LG from the top slot in the country.

Samsung clocked sales of USD2.2 billion in India in 2009, with the company saying it expects that figure to grow by 40 percent over this calendar year.
