TV advertising volumes in India saw 31 percent growth during 2009 compared with 2008.
According to Indian media tracking and monitoring service AdEx, the food and beverages segment contributed the most in TV advertising volumes with a 14 percent share of the total over the year.
Hindustan Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser and Coca-Cola were the top three advertisers, in that order, the study said.
