CX makes personal pitch in unusual ad campaign

Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways is attempting to leverage customer loyalty by adopting an unconventional approach to its marketing campaigns – providing insight into the personalities and private lives of its staff.

The new advertising direction comes in response to customer feedback from surveys conducted in 2009, which showed the face of the airline to be perceived in terms of its staff rather than onboard features such as seating and entertainment.
