Adding value to plastic bag through branding

Thawee Jullasaksrisakul was sceptical the first time he considered the idea of a brand-name plastic bag. A bag is a bag, right?

But while making some photocopies one day at university with Double A-brand paper, he realised that adding value through branding might make sense for even the most humble of products.

From that day on, Thawee –  the eldest son of Seree Jullasaksrisakul, the owner of King Pac Industrial Co, the largest polyethylene plastic-bag manufacturer in Asia  –  had a new attitude. He set up a team to develop branded plastic-bag products shortly after he joined Dpac Inter Corporation Co, a manufacturing arm of King Pac.
