HK airport cargo up 42pc to new record

Hong Kong International Airport handled record cargo tonnages last month and says business has returned to pre-crisis levels.

The world’s busiest international cargo terminal handled 367,000 tonnes of cargo in May, up 42 percent from a year earlier, thanks to increased exports to Europe and North America.
