A former Toys R Us manager who stole more than GBP3 million (USD4.5 million) from the company to pay for call girls, luxury cars and houses has been ordered to repay a majority of the cash or face another ten years in prison.
Paul Hopes, who worked in accounts at the company’s Maidenhead head office, is already serving seven years in prison after being found guilty last December of stealing GBP3.68m (USD5.5m). He admitted to 14 counts of theft and four of transferring criminal property.
