China to crackdwn websites selling fake products

China is expected to kick off a five-month campaign to regulate its online market to protect the legitimate rights and interests of both online consumers and operators.

The campaign, effective from July to November, aims to crackdown fake and low quality products that have been widely complained by the consumers and dealers, as well as, unscrupulous online stores, Xinhua news agency reported.

Products sold online, including electronic products, car accessories, clothing and shoes, goods for children and the elderly, agricultural materials and other important commodities would be inspected, the news agency quoted the State Administration for Industry and Commerce as saying on Wednesday.
