Singapore’s Flextronics says it’s unfazed by rival’s pay rises

Singapore’s Flextronics International, the world’s second biggest contract electronics manufacturer, sees no adverse impact from market-leading rival Hon Hai Precision Industry’s decision to raise wages across mainland China.

According to Flextronics, its exposure on mainland China is not as large as that of its Taiwanese rival.

"Only about half of our mainland workforce is in southern China," the Flextronics spokeswoman said.
