China’s Suguo invests USD31.37b in energy efficiency store concept

Chinese supermarket Suguo will continue remodeling and building "energy efficiency stores" by investing nearly CNY200 billion (USD31.37b) this year in an effort to promote energy saving and cut carbon emissions.

"Suguo, as a large retail company that was founded 16 years ago, is committed to social responsibility while serving consumers with its conveniences. We see a close relationship between cutting emissions and our corporate development strategy," said a representative from Suguo.
