Thailand’s Mc Jeans maker lets out its waist for AEC

Thailand’s PK Garment (Import-Export) Co, the producer of Mc Jeans, will spend THB1 billion (USD32.4 million) to double production capacity and build support facilities to boost competitiveness and benefit from the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) set for 2015.

The plan also calls for doubling the size of its business to THB5-6b annually within the next five years.

Of the budget, THB300 million will be spent to improve logistics efficiency including building a 30,000-square-metre warehouse on 26 rai near Suvarnabhumi airport.
